Greens MP Catherine Delahunty praises work of Pacific Media Centre and students

Green MP Catherine Delahunty has written to the Pacific Media Centre's director Dr David Robie to congratulate the outstanding coverage of the recent Pacific Islands Forum by the students of the centre and AUT University. Delahunty says Pacific Scoop, which is edited by the PMC, became the "go to" site for the "real stories" of the forum. She said New Zealand was "fortunate" to have the Pacific Media Centre training future journalists and providing something of value where the mainstream media are less committed.
