FIJI: Mai Life on market to comply with media decree

SUVA: Publisher Alsa Limited today announced the sale of Fiji’s number one magazine, Mai Life, to comply with the Media Industry Development Decree 2010 that prohibits cross-media ownership .

Owner and publisher Judith Ragg says that due to her marriage to Mai TV’s major shareholder Richard Broadbridge, she is divesting her shares in Mai Life magazine to allow their family to own only one entity in Fiji’s media. - Mai Life/Pacific Media Watch
