MELBOURNE (Radio Australia's Pacific Beat / Pacific Media Watch): In November 2011, a delegation of journalists from the Asia Pacific region visited Australia as part of a media development program. The program was run by the Asia Pacific Journalism Centre based here in Melbourne.

Over the past few months political tensions in the Pacific have increased, and Pacific Beat thought it would be a good opportunity to ask two Pacific journalists, who participated in the program about the challenges they face when covering the politics round.

Presenter: Bruce Hill
Rozalee Nongebatu, Solomon Islands Broadcasting Corporation
Rikamati Naare, Broadcasting and Publications Authority in Kiribati
